Christmas Morning

How fun to have all the kids wake up to see the cookies were eaten and the milk drank, and to find a nice little note from Santa. They were so excited. Christmas morning, the kids opened their stocking stuffers and the gifts from Santa. Mason got an awesome Nerf shooting thing for two players. Basically, you wear a chest pad and you have a little gun full of about six nerf bullets. That thoroughly occupied Rob and Mason while Grandpa was making breakfast, and then later Izzy and Maria went Commando on Albert. It was hilarious.

The Girls received an awesome Melissa & Doug doll house that is fit for a King and Queen. It is huge! They have three little doll families too. Way to cute and I heard that Santa got a great deal on it!

Then their combined gift was the Elefun game, which is basically a little game where an elephant shoots butterflied out of his snout and you catch them with nets. My sister in law has it and the kids love it. Santa must have really paid attention to detail on that one!
Grandpa made his traditional hash browns and pancakes. Yummy is the key word there! His hash browns are so delicious, and I am pretty sure we have been waking up to those on Christmas morning for years!

Everyone sort of parted ways around 9am because there were more festivities to get to. Mom and Dad were heading to their friend's house, Christine and Joe had to prepare for an Italian Christmas dinner on the 26th and we were getting ready for the Baldwin Christmas!

It was another great Christmas for our family! I really enjoyed the company of everyone and I think (hope) everyone had a nice time. I know my kids sure enjoyed all the fun! I look forward to another successfully fun Christmas Eve next year too! Only this time (Albert), let's all remember who we have for Polly Anna!
